Grants provide monetary assistance to arts presenters and curatorial staff so that they may travel to view NTP projects for which they are considering presenting.

About the National Theater Project Grant Program

Visit the National Theater Project Program page to learn more about the program and its advisors.

Arts presenters and curatorial staff considering NTP projects are eligible to apply for travel support to see the project. Grants reimburse up to 70% of total expenses, including mileage, economy class transportation, meals, lodging, admission, and, where applicable, conference or showcase registration fees. In general, grants range from $700-$1,000, but there is no funding maximum. Funded presenters are expected to complete an evaluation within one month of viewing the project. We strongly recommend that you contact the artist either before or when you attend the performance.

Rolling Deadline: NTP Presenter Travel Grants are awarded on a rolling basis.
