Artisans Asylum's Call for Art - Vessel Exhibition

Gallery A2 is a contemporary art exhibition space based at the Artisans Asylum makerspace in Boston. The gallery is dedicated to showcasing innovation and excellence in fabrication, craft, and aesthetics. They are currently inviting artists to submit a body of work (three or more objects) holding a concept or idea. Gallery A2 is searching for emerging, early, and mid-career creative practitioners whose submission reads as a unified vessel of work.

Collective Futures Fund

The Collective Futures Fund is an initiative directly supporting visual artists and artist-run activity in the Greater Boston area through grants between $3,000 and $8,000. Visual artists, curators, arts writers, cultural organizers, collectives, and collaborators at all career stages who reside in Norfolk, Middlesex, Essex, Suffolk, and Plymouth counties are encouraged to apply.

MAPC's Accelerating Climate Resilience (ACR)

The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) is currently accepting proposals for 12-month projects (up to $50,000), with a preference for regional collaborations. In addition to the 101 cities and towns in the MAPC region, eligible lead applicants also include entities and/or organizations that work in and serve the people of the MAPC region. The organizations are defined as local 501(c)(3) community-based organizations, tribes, and Indigenous communities. Community-based organizations without 501(c)(3) status are encouraged to partner with their municipality to submit an application.

Copland House Residency Awards

Copland House announces the 2026 Copland House Residency Awards. Typically, eight to ten emerging or established composers are selected to live and work, one at a time, for approximately three to eight weeks at Aaron Copland’s National Historic Landmark home in New York’s lower Hudson River Valley, one hour north of New York City. Professional composers who are American citizens or permanent residents of all backgrounds and identities – especially those from underrepresented communities – are invited to apply. Accommodations, meals, housekeeping, and local transportation are provided by Copland House. Residencies will be scheduled between November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2027. Copland House Residents also become eligible for various post-residency honors and performance, recording, commissioning, or other career development opportunities. Composers apply online on Copland House’s website, by uploading a Residency Awards application form, three representative works and recordings, resume, and brief description of the project(s) planned for during a residency.

2026 Flaherty Fellowship

The 2026 Flaherty Fellowship program will welcome a cohort of 15 in-person Fellows in Vermont and 15 online Fellows, offering an immersive experience during the 71st Flaherty Seminar. We seek Fellows who demonstrate a strong commitment to community engagement in their profession, practice, or field of study.

Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Danbury's Call for Native American Artists

The congregation invites Native American artists to submit proposals for artwork to be exhibited in the fellowship hall of the Congregation for Roots and Horizons. The call is open to artists who are enrolled members or documented descendants of federally or state-recognized Native American tribes. Preference given to a local artist. Ideally, they are looking for a two-dimensional piece of artwork using any or all of the following mediums: painting, beadwork, digital art, mixed media, photography, textiles, and more. They might consider another medium or size for a really creative idea. The selected artist will receive commission of $5,000 (which includes materials and installation).

Innovate Grants Spring 2026

Innovate Grant awards (2) $1,800.00 grants each quarter, to one Visual Artist and one Photographer. In addition, (18) honorable mentions (9 in art and 9 in photo), will be featured on our website and join a growing community of vibrant and talented artists. Innovate Grant's commitment extends beyond the grant cycle by promoting the work of selected winners and honorable mentions into the future. Innovate Grants support artists and photographers through quarterly grants. We've simplified the grant process, so that artists and photographers can focus on making their innovative work. The work should speak for itself and our application reflects that.

Springboard for the Arts' Rural Regenerator Fellowship

The Rural Regenerator Fellowship is an 18-month fellowship that brings together rural artists, creatives, and culture bearers to deepen their relationships, grow their work, and support rural exchange and solidarity across the Upper Midwest.

Call to Artists: Watertown Business Coalition's Arts Market

The Watertown Business Coalition (WBC), in partnership with the City of Watertown, is proud to announce the return of the Watertown Arts Market on Saturday, August 8, 2026. This signature community event will transform Arsenal Park into a vibrant outdoor gallery and performance space from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The Arts Market Committee invites local Watertown artists, authors, musicians, nonprofit cultural organizations, and arts-based businesses to secure their spot for 2026. Fees: $30 for individual artists; $40 for nonprofit organizations; $65 for arts and cultural businesses.

National Endowment for the Arts' Grants for Artists 

The NEA fund arts projects in the following disciplines: Arts Education, Challenge America, Dance, Design & Our Town, Folk & Traditional Arts, Literary Arts, Local Arts Agencies, Museums, Music, Opera, Our Town, Presenting & Multidisciplinary Works, Theater & Musical Theater, and Visual & Media Arts.

WORK_SPACE Gallery's Call for Artists: Roots Run Deep

Roots Run Deep is an exhibition dedicated to celebrating and examining the multifaceted nature of Indigenous heritage. We are seeking works that explore the unbreakable links between past, present, and future. Whether through traditional techniques passed down through generations or contemporary interpretations of identity, this exhibit aims to provide a platform for Indigenous voices to share their stories, struggles, and triumphs. New England artists age 16+ with a connection to indigenous heritage are invited to submit up to 3 pieces of art. All mediums are accepted.

Call for Artists & Businesses: Imagining Gloucester's Future

The city of Gloucester seeks applications from artists, artist teams, and businesses interested in creating one-of-a-kind window murals on Main Street. Selected artists will be matched with participating businesses to create a hand-painted temporary mural on display during the second half of 2026. The themes of these murals is "Imagining Gloucester's Future." Artists will design murals that will envision the future of Gloucester through community, art, fishing, tourism, geography, and more. RISCA's Artist Open Studio Tour

Artist Open Studio Tour grants support marketing and administration for an artist-initiated open studio tour. The studio tour must consist of multiple artists within one studio building or several nearby buildings and be open to the public.
