Arts Project Grants support community-based projects that provide equal and abundant access to the arts. 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations, municipalities, and educational institutions may apply. Grant amounts range from $1,000 to $5,000.

Call to Artists: The Hopper Prize is accepting submissions for Spring 2026 artist grants. They will be providing 6 grants totaling $13,000 USD. 2 artists will each receive $4,500 and 4 artists will each receive $1,000. All visual art media is eligible. This open call provides you with a direct path to get your work in front of an international community of curators, artists, gallerists, and arts administrators. Additional exposure is available via a 30 artist shortlist, online journal, & Instagram currently reaching over 165k.

Arts Operating grants provide funds to arts organizations that offer year-round, high-quality arts programs and services. Nonprofit arts organizations, arts-based groups with a fiscal agent/fiscal sponsor, and municipal arts agencies may apply. See the guidelines for full eligibility details. Grants are offered in one-year or three-year funding supports. One-year and three-year operating grants are offered in FY2027. One year grant awards are $3,000 – $5,000; three year grants are $7,000- $11,000. Grants will not exceed 30% of your operating revenue.

Cultural Facilities Grants help Vermont nonprofit organizations and municipalities enhance, create, or expand the capacity of an existing building to provide cultural activities for the public. Cultural activities are defined broadly as activities that enhance artistic, creative, aesthetic, historic, or scholarly appreciation by members of the public. Vermont nonprofit organizations and municipalities are eligible to apply. Applicants must own a facility that has been in existence for a minimum of ten years prior to the application deadline, and it must be physically located in Vermont. See the guidelines for full eligibility details. Grant amounts range from $1,000 to $30,000 and must be matched on a 1:1 basis.

Heartland Craft Guilds is designed to strengthen organizational leadership, operations, and long-term sustainability for groups that support craftspeople and maintain craft traditions across the region. In addition to grant funding, selected organizations will participate in a cohort-based learning program that includes networking with peers, workshops, and technical assistance tailored to the needs of guild leaders and member-based organizations.

The NPN Creation Fund supports the creation, development, and mobility of new artistic work that advances racial and cultural justice and results in an exchange between artists and communities. The fund supports artists creating a new work in its earliest stages, centering relationship building between artists, presenters, and communities. Creation Fund artists receive a minimum of $15,000 of unrestricted funding that supports the process and labor that goes into creating a new artistic work.

The Collective Futures Fund is an initiative directly supporting visual artists and artist-run activity in the Greater Boston area through grants between $3,000 and $8,000. Visual artists, curators, arts writers, cultural organizers, collectives, and collaborators at all career stages who reside in Norfolk, Middlesex, Essex, Suffolk, and Plymouth counties are encouraged to apply.

The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) is currently accepting proposals for 12-month projects (up to $50,000), with a preference for regional collaborations. In addition to the 101 cities and towns in the MAPC region, eligible lead applicants also include entities and/or organizations that work in and serve the people of the MAPC region. The organizations are defined as local 501(c)(3) community-based organizations, tribes, and Indigenous communities. Community-based organizations without 501(c)(3) status are encouraged to partner with their municipality to submit an application.

The congregation invites Native American artists to submit proposals for artwork to be exhibited in the fellowship hall of the Congregation for Roots and Horizons. The call is open to artists who are enrolled members or documented descendants of federally or state-recognized Native American tribes. Preference given to a local artist. Ideally, they are looking for a two-dimensional piece of artwork using any or all of the following mediums: painting, beadwork, digital art, mixed media, photography, textiles, and more. They might consider another medium or size for a really creative idea. The selected artist will receive commission of $5,000 (which includes materials and installation).

Innovate Grant awards (2) $1,800.00 grants each quarter, to one Visual Artist and one Photographer. In addition, (18) honorable mentions (9 in art and 9 in photo), will be featured on our website and join a growing community of vibrant and talented artists. Innovate Grant's commitment extends beyond the grant cycle by promoting the work of selected winners and honorable mentions into the future. Innovate Grants support artists and photographers through quarterly grants. We've simplified the grant process, so that artists and photographers can focus on making their innovative work. The work should speak for itself and our application reflects that.

The Watertown Business Coalition (WBC), in partnership with the City of Watertown, is proud to announce the return of the Watertown Arts Market on Saturday, August 8, 2026. This signature community event will transform Arsenal Park into a vibrant outdoor gallery and performance space from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The Arts Market Committee invites local Watertown artists, authors, musicians, nonprofit cultural organizations, and arts-based businesses to secure their spot for 2026. Fees: $30 for individual artists; $40 for nonprofit organizations; $65 for arts and cultural businesses.

Roots Run Deep is an exhibition dedicated to celebrating and examining the multifaceted nature of Indigenous heritage. We are seeking works that explore the unbreakable links between past, present, and future. Whether through traditional techniques passed down through generations or contemporary interpretations of identity, this exhibit aims to provide a platform for Indigenous voices to share their stories, struggles, and triumphs. New England artists age 16+ with a connection to indigenous heritage are invited to submit up to 3 pieces of art. All mediums are accepted.

Artist Open Studio Tour grants support marketing and administration for an artist-initiated open studio tour. The studio tour must consist of multiple artists within one studio building or several nearby buildings and be open to the public.
