Call to Artists: Watertown Business Coalition's Arts Market

The Watertown Business Coalition (WBC), in partnership with the City of Watertown, is proud to announce the return of the Watertown Arts Market on Saturday, August 8, 2026. This signature community event will transform Arsenal Park into a vibrant outdoor gallery and performance space from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The Arts Market Committee invites local Watertown artists, authors, musicians, nonprofit cultural organizations, and arts-based businesses to secure their spot for 2026. Fees: $30 for individual artists; $40 for nonprofit organizations; $65 for arts and cultural businesses.

The City of Pittsfield's Call for Artists: Greetings from Pittsfield Mural

The City of Pittsfield’s Office of Cultural Development is seeking an experienced muralist to create an approximate 43’ wide x 20’ high “Greetings from Pittsfield” Mural with an option for an additional space to cover entire building in downtown Pittsfield at 122 North Street on the northside of Barrington Stage’s Wolfson Center Building. The mural is to be completed by September 30, 2026. The artist stipend for this mural is $12,000. Artist must supply their own paint, sealant, and materials and organize their own lodging and travel accommodations.

First Peoples Fund's Native Performing Arts Live Production Grant

The Native Performing Arts Live Production Grant (LPG) program supports Native-led live performing events and performances that include multiple Native performers and artists. “Live Production” means the artist(s) are actively engaged in creating a live performance, either in person or virtually. Live Productions can include: Original or re-adapted theatrical plays, touring for Native performance groups, performances taking place in Native communities, and other forms of live performance that may not fit into conventional performance categories (music festivals, concerts, and fairs). The LPG Grant offers a one-year $30,000 grant to individual Native performing artists and Native-led performing arts organizations/businesses/collectives with experience presenting live productions. LPG is intended to support live productions in the active stages of production. Proposed live productions that are still in development, either in writing retreats or workshops, will not be considered.

City of Medford's Call for Wood Working Artists

The City of Medford in partnership with the Medford Arts Council is seeking an experienced wood working artist for a public art project to give new life to a deceased tree at a local neighborhood park, Logan Playground.

National Endowment for the Arts' Grants for Artists 

The NEA fund arts projects in the following disciplines: Arts Education, Challenge America, Dance, Design & Our Town, Folk & Traditional Arts, Literary Arts, Local Arts Agencies, Museums, Music, Opera, Our Town, Presenting & Multidisciplinary Works, Theater & Musical Theater, and Visual & Media Arts.

University of Maine seeks Qualifications from Artists of Artist Teams

The University of Maine, in partnership with the Maine Arts Commission, seeks qualifications from artists or artist teams for a public art commission at the new GEM Factory of the Future building in Orono, Maine. The project will support a permanent public artwork that reflects the building’s focus on sustainable materials, advanced manufacturing, research, and innovation.

Vermont Arts Council's Artists in School Grant

Artists in Schools Grants support quality, multiday arts experiences in schools with Vermont teaching artists in residence. Applicants are Vermont schools or school districts, and nonprofit arts organizations with a documented school/district partnership.

WORK_SPACE Gallery's Call for Artists: Roots Run Deep

Roots Run Deep is an exhibition dedicated to celebrating and examining the multifaceted nature of Indigenous heritage. We are seeking works that explore the unbreakable links between past, present, and future. Whether through traditional techniques passed down through generations or contemporary interpretations of identity, this exhibit aims to provide a platform for Indigenous voices to share their stories, struggles, and triumphs. New England artists age 16+ with a connection to indigenous heritage are invited to submit up to 3 pieces of art. All mediums are accepted.

Rhode Island State Council for the Arts Teaching Artist Roster

Applications for its directory of approved arts educators, the Rhode Island Teaching Artist Roster, will close on Aug. 1. The Roster, listed on the New England Foundation for the Arts’ CreativeGround platform, is a widely used public resource for educators and individuals, who are looking to engage an artist for arts learning, residencies or projects.

RISCA's Artist Open Studio Tour

Artist Open Studio Tour grants support marketing and administration for an artist-initiated open studio tour. The studio tour must consist of multiple artists within one studio building or several nearby buildings and be open to the public.
