General Operating Support for Artists provides grants for three consecutive years for three artists to work toward large, specific, self-identified goals in their art practice.
Application Deadline: October 1
The program funds via matching grants capital improvement, preservation, renovation and new construction projects for public and nonprofit artistic performance centers, museums and cultural art centers located throughout the state. Project proposals that address accessibility, help buildings conform with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), update building and fire codes, increase energy efficiency, and grow programming capacity are particularly encouraged.

The Town of Cohasset Planning Department, in partnership with the Paul Pratt Memorial Library, is seeking visionary artists or artist teams to design and build two original, temporary public art installations for display from May through November 2026. This exciting opportunity invites creatives to propose Outdoor Reading Nooks—functional, sculptural works of art that will transform the library’s front lawn at 35 Ripley Road into welcoming spaces for reading, reflection, and community connection. With a total commission of $12,000, the selected artist(s) will create engaging, interactive pieces that celebrate learning, creativity, and public gathering. The Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grants program provides one-time grants of up to $3,000 to professional dancers facing dire financial emergencies, due to the loss or lack of recent/current live performance work, because of circumstances outside of their control.

Do you want the chance to see your artwork displayed at Boston City Hall? Emerging artists who live, work, or create in the Greater Boston area are encouraged to submit their artwork to the Fay Chandler Emerging Art Exhibition. Prizes: Best in Show: $3,000; 50+: $2,000; New Voice: $2,000; 3 Juror’s Choice Awards: $500 each.

The University of Nebraska Lincoln is seeking existing 2D artworks for direct purchase to be displayed in the new Westbrook Music Building. The Westbrook Music Building, part of UNL’s Hixson-Lied College of Fine & Performing Arts, is a state-of-the-art facility for the Glenn Korff School of Music. The Committee is looking for works that have a conceptual connection to the Glenn Korff School of Music’s mission and values. The school is devoted to the advancement of music and dance, the preparation of future arts professionals, and service to the arts professions/institutions, holding key values such as being collaborative, inclusive, and creative. Artists should explain this connection in their letter of interest. The number of works that are purchased depends on the price for each piece; only submit works priced between $1,000 and $20,000.

The Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture (MOAC) believes artists and cultural workers play a vital role in shaping a healthy, vibrant, and just society. To support this belief, the Opportunity Fund provides project-based grants to Boston-based artists and cultural workers to create and present creative, community-centered experiences that expand access to arts and culture across all neighborhoods.

This grant provides small and mid-sized organizations that are based in Boston or whose programming primarily takes place in Boston up to $10,000 to support general operating costs.

Unrestricted grants of $5,000 to Massachusetts artists, culture bearers, and creative practitioners to equitably advance creative expression throughout our diverse communities.

The David Hoose Grant is a biennial, $5,000 grant supporting the commission of meaningful new choral music with instrumental accompaniment. This grant supports new compositions that explore choral music’s unique capacity to help us understand our history, reflect on our present, and envision our future.

The Hills and Hollows Fund was established at the Vermont Community Foundation in 2003 to support educational opportunities, children and families, and efforts that foster the future sustainability of Poultney and its nearby communities.

The Community Sculpture Walk exhibits outdoor sculptures to enhance the use of open space in Watertown, encourage public interaction with contemporary art, and create an annual exhibition opportunity for artists at all career stages working in a variety of mediums. Selected artists will be awarded $3,000 for the two-year loan of their sculpture. Artists are responsible for transporting their work to and from the Community Sculpture Walk and the installation and deinstallation of their artwork.

The Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants program provides grants of up to $5,000 for recent, unexpected medical, dental, and mental health emergencies experienced by artists in financial need who are creating in the visual arts, film/video/electronic/digital arts, or choreography. Privacy is guaranteed.

The DeVos Institute Global Executive Fellowship serves entrepreneurial executives in the arts and cultural sector who are prepared to look critically at their work, challenge assumptions, and develop rigorous strategies to address the most pressing challenges facing their organizations, regions, and art forms at large.

International grant and fellowship opportunity! The Asian Cultural Council (ACC) is accepting applications for their 2026 Global Grant Cycle. ACC grants enable artists, scholars, arts professionals, and organizations to pursue open-ended research to advance cultural exchange and mutual understanding between the U.S. and Asia.

New Bedford Creative's artist-in-residence program invites artists to view New Bedford as a source of inspiration, exploring themes such as history, heritage, ecology, identity, and historic preservation. Artists are encouraged to engage deeply with the city’s collective stories—its community, visitors, staff, and volunteers—while embracing the belief that art should be accessible to all.

501(c)(3) nonprofits that provide health, safety, or welfare services in Vermont can receive an enhanced incentive, covering 100% of costs up to $7,500, with a limit of 4 products, in addition to standard rebate offers.

Artist Open Studio Tour grants support marketing and administration for an artist-initiated open studio tour. The studio tour must consist of multiple artists within one studio building or several nearby buildings and be open to the public.
