The David Hoose Grant is a biennial, $5,000 grant supporting the commission of meaningful new choral music with instrumental accompaniment. This grant supports new compositions that explore choral music’s unique capacity to help us understand our history, reflect on our present, and envision our future.

The Hills and Hollows Fund was established at the Vermont Community Foundation in 2003 to support educational opportunities, children and families, and efforts that foster the future sustainability of Poultney and its nearby communities.

The Community Sculpture Walk exhibits outdoor sculptures to enhance the use of open space in Watertown, encourage public interaction with contemporary art, and create an annual exhibition opportunity for artists at all career stages working in a variety of mediums. Selected artists will be awarded $3,000 for the two-year loan of their sculpture. Artists are responsible for transporting their work to and from the Community Sculpture Walk and the installation and deinstallation of their artwork.

The Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants program provides grants of up to $5,000 for recent, unexpected medical, dental, and mental health emergencies experienced by artists in financial need who are creating in the visual arts, film/video/electronic/digital arts, or choreography. Privacy is guaranteed.

The DeVos Institute Global Executive Fellowship serves entrepreneurial executives in the arts and cultural sector who are prepared to look critically at their work, challenge assumptions, and develop rigorous strategies to address the most pressing challenges facing their organizations, regions, and art forms at large.

The David Scull Improvement Project is intended to provide a community gateway between the Southlawn industrial area and adjacent residential neighborhoods with the park as the featured entrance point. Plans for the park improvements include a pavilion with restrooms, concrete walkway connecting the corner of Taft Street and East Gude Drive with First Street, multipurpose rectangular field, and landscaping and hardscaping throughout to improve usability of the park. The public artwork will serve as the entrance and signage for the park, as well as a landmark for the location.

Get Ready Grants, providing craft artists with grants up to $1,000 for activities to safeguard their studios, protect their practices, and prepare for emergencies.

Applicants are encouraged to propose site-responsive ideas that engage, educate, and inspire the Allston-Brighton community. Themes of interest include but are not limited to: building social connections; racial & social justice; health & healing; and whimsy, humor, wonder & joy.
The mural board is freestanding and modestly sized (approximately 8 x 12 feet). In addition to the mural, the artist will also provide visual and written materials for related content on the Ed Portal's website.
Selected artist(s) will receive a payment of $1000-$1500 that includes an honorarium as well as a materials budget. The fee variability is dependent on project complexity and the number of people involved.

The Artist-in-Residence Program at the Mosesian Center for the Arts is a new offering dedicated to uplifting new, emerging and local talent by providing the time and space needed to create, experiment, and grow. This program is rooted in our commitment to equity and access. The Mosesian Center for the Arts envisions a vibrant creative ecosystem where artists at early stages of their journeys can expand their practice, inspire the communities they serve, and shape the future of the arts.

International grant and fellowship opportunity! The Asian Cultural Council (ACC) is accepting applications for their 2026 Global Grant Cycle. ACC grants enable artists, scholars, arts professionals, and organizations to pursue open-ended research to advance cultural exchange and mutual understanding between the U.S. and Asia.

Exhibit dates: March 2 - May 15, 2026 (exact dates to be confirmed); exhibit space: Open Door Gallery at the Worcester Art Museum (ODG@WAM); selected artists will receive a $250 stipend. 18+ artists with disabilities who live in Massachusetts are eligible to submit. This includes anyone who self-identifies as disabled/having a disability. You do not need to share your disability with them to submit. Please note: The exhibit curators will give priority to artists who have not exhibited in ODG@WAM in the last year. This call for art invites you to explore the theme of repetition in many ways. We are the experts in our own experiences. This call positions the artist as the teacher. What do you want people to know through your art? What interests does your art share? Are there topics or interests that you return to over and over again in your work? Does repetition play a role in your process? We are excited to learn how you interpret this theme!

New Bedford Creative's artist-in-residence program invites artists to view New Bedford as a source of inspiration, exploring themes such as history, heritage, ecology, identity, and historic preservation. Artists are encouraged to engage deeply with the city’s collective stories—its community, visitors, staff, and volunteers—while embracing the belief that art should be accessible to all.

Massachusetts-based artist(s) and Massachusetts-based organizations working with artist(s), are welcome to apply for a project grant. Projects must take place in Massachusetts and creatively cultivate expressions or embodiments of spatial justice through public artmaking. All artistic disciplines are welcome to apply. Public Art for Spatial Justice grants range from $15,000-$30,000, for up to two-year grant period beginning March 2026 through February 2028.

Managed in collaboration with MassDevelopment, the Cultural Facilities Fund provides major improvement grants to nonprofit cultural organizations, in recognition of their profound economic impact on communities across Massachusetts. Since 2006, the Fund has encouraged sound growth, supported important development projects, played a crucial role in the growth of local tourism, created thousands of jobs, and driven millions of dollars in private investment.

The Chickasaw Nation is currently calling all artists to compete for cash prizes in the 2025 Hushtola Art Market! All artists must be from federally recognized tribes and may submit multiple works. 501(c)(3) nonprofits that provide health, safety, or welfare services in Vermont can receive an enhanced incentive, covering 100% of costs up to $7,500, with a limit of 4 products, in addition to standard rebate offers.

USArtists International® supports in-person performances by artists from any state or territory in the U.S. at engagements at international festivals, global presenting arts markets, and other eligible engagements outside of the United States. The program funds individuals and ensembles across all performing arts practices and disciplines. Matching grants of up to $11,000 toward eligible travel expenses.

Artist Open Studio Tour grants support marketing and administration for an artist-initiated open studio tour. The studio tour must consist of multiple artists within one studio building or several nearby buildings and be open to the public.
