(Iteration)/\ investigates the relationship between the source of dance/dancing/choreography, composition, performance techniques, dance legacy, and nowness of fear and urgency. The work features choreography, video, and sound by Sarah Michelson, lighting by Zack Tinkelman, performers Rachel Berman, Jennifer Lafferty, Madeline Wilcox, and Michelson, with local student collaborations in each location. The work will premiere at The Richard B. Fisher Center at Bard (September2017/\) and transform through locations: The Kitchen (October2017/\), Kampnagel (February2018/\), Performance Space 122 (Spring2018/\), and Walker Arts Center (Winter20‘18/’19/\).
Estimated artist fee: $30,000/performance; $35,000-$40,000/week.
