The Mariposa Museum & World Culture Center will present a residency with the Massachusetts ensemble Myrtle Street Klezmer. Exploring the past, present, and future of klezmer music—the traditional celebratory music of Ashkenazi Jews—the ensemble connects audiences through performances, workshops, and presentations. The residency will include a family-friendly concert, a participatory workshop and Q&A on the history and practice of klezmer music, and an all-ages dance party.
