Weathervane Community Arts

Weathervane Community Arts will present a performance and community engagement project featuring musician/composer/educator Taylor Ho Bynum with collaborator Tomas Fujiwara, both internationally recognized leaders in contemporary improvised music. Building on their decades-long collaboration, the project will pair an evening concert with an inclusive, intergenerational music workshop open to participants of all ages and skill levels.

The workshop will introduce improvisational practices rooted in listening, collaboration, and creative exploration, culminating in a community ensemble performance. The concert will feature a set by the community ensemble, a duo performance by Bynum and Fujiwara, and a collaborative finale bringing all participants together.
