La Grua Center

La Grua Center in Stonington, CT will present Rasa String Quartet in a two-part, community-focused engagement for our Music Matters series. The project pairs one or two Stonington school assembly concerts on a Friday at Deans Mill School and/or West Vine Street School with a public Saturday concert at La Grua Center. The school repertoire will mix classical, folk, pop, and rock; La Grua staff will coordinate with music teachers during the 2026–27 school year so that students arrive prepared. Assemblies will introduce the instruments, demonstrate ensemble interaction, and include Q&A. The Saturday concert will present a one-hour classical program for the general public.
