The Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University will present the Limón Dance Company in a residency featuring workshops, virtual programs, open rehearsals, and a public performance. The company will present a reinterpretation of Limón’s Mazurkas under the direction of Dante Puleio and a new work by choreographer Akram Khan inspired by Limón’s acclaimed The Moor’s Pavane. The engagement will honor the legacy of American modern dance while inviting audiences to experience new interpretations of Limón’s work.
