Portland Ovations will present drag artist Sasha Velour’s TRAVESTY, a work that follows a single place of queer history over time through an artful combination of imaginative theater, scholarship, LGBTQ+ history, and queer community. The engagement will include college visits exploring the academic importance of drag, a guided walking tour of Portland’s queer history and places of significance, a community-building party for queer teens and young adults, and a specially curated Drag Storytime for young audiences.
