Blues to Green will present Grammy-winning pianist and composer Zaccai Curtis at the Springfield Jazz & Roots Festival. Curtis will perform with the Zaccai Curtis Sextet on the festival’s free outdoor main stage and lead a workshop as part of the Jazz & Justice Series. The project highlights Afro-Caribbean and jazz traditions and includes an interactive workshop exploring the history, rhythms, and evolution of Afro-Caribbean music and jazz.
