Biography
Llewellyn Murray joined NEFA as the Executive Assistant in February 2026. In this role, Llewellyn is the principal support staff for the executive director, providing an essential strategic communications and logistics interface between the executive director and staff and as the organization’s primary liaison to the board of directors.
Llewellyn has held multiple administrative roles across the nonprofit sector. Most recently, he served as the program administrator for Brandeis University’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Education and Learning Initiatives, where he worked to improve the DEI training request system as well as creating and delivering educational workshops and professional development across the Brandeis community. Prior to his role at Brandeis, he held front-line roles at the Museum of Fine Arts, engaging with visitors about museum collections and exhibitions, and advising guests on membership opportunities, and served as a restorative justice grant manager and implementation coach for Boston Public Schools. Llewellyn holds a B.A. in English and Spanish (magna cum laude) from Stonehill College
