<p>In connection with an exhibition of artwork by Guyanese-American artist Carl E. Hazlewood, the Brattleboro Museum &amp; Art Center (BMAC) presents &quot;Anansi, the Trickster Spider: A West African Folktale&quot;, a 45-minute, family-friendly, original production by the Connecticut-based traveling children&#39;s theater company, Grumbling Gryphons. The production will take place in the museum&#39;s main gallery, surrounded by Hazlewood&#39;s drawings, paintings, and site-specific works, which have been influenced by the legend of Anansi. Prior to the performance, several dozen local children, between the ages of six and twelve, will take part in a mask-making and drama workshop offered by the Grumbling Gryphons.
