Anne Tantuico

I plan on utilizing this award for professional development workshops/intensives, renting local rehearsal space, and offsetting costs associated with housing collaborative artists during the development of new work. I am interested in attending dance/performance based workshops catering towards professional dancers looking to deepen their personal practice. These intensives vary in length averaging 4-6 days. In preparation for a new work, Untitled, to premiere in August 2026, I will allocate funds for renting rehearsal space on a consistent basis at a studio local to Portland, Maine. Finally, a portion of the award will go towards my collaborators' meals and transportation while they stay with me for longer periods of rehearsal.
