<p>Puppet Showplace Theater is excited to bring Rahul Koonathara’s Tholpavakoothu back for a one night only shadow puppet experience - by popular demand! Tholpavakoothu illuminates scenes from the epic Ramayana using firelight from lamps made of coconuts, filled with coconut oil, and lit with cotton wicks. The spectacle of this show gives us a unique opportunity to showcase shadow puppetry outdoors in a style even puppet enthusiasts may not have experienced. </p>
