Sandglass Center for Puppetry and Theater Research

In October of 2025, Sandglass Theater will present excerpts from Party Animals by Sarah Nolen at our 2025 Puppets in Paradise event, a two-day outdoor celebration featuring local and regional performers at Retreat Farm in Brattleboro, VT. Sarah's performance follows four young musically themed animals as they prepare for the biggest social hurdle of their lives - their first party. Audiences will encounter a traditional booth hand puppet show, exploring each character through their unique musical identity and arriving collectively at a place of solidarity.
