LAB grant recipient, Kimberleigh Holman, is collaborating with Emmy Award winning filmmaker Sam Krueger to create a film essay on her new work Contradictions + Casual Self Loathing (C+CSL). The project takes a humorous and captivating approach to the difficult and unique aspects of womanhood curated from interviews, workshops, and conversations with a range of female identifying people. Her process will ask “How can we celebrate discomfort, awkwardness, the things that push us and the things we don’t like about ourselves?” via workshops, panel discussions, and film showings in Medford, MA, the Metrowest area, and virtually.
