Waterville Creates

Waterville Creates will present a live performance by the Grammy-nominated American Patchwork Quartet at the Waterville Opera House, with performance opportunities for local professional musicians to share their own origin stories. The ensemble reimagines traditional American folk songs through the distinct cultural perspectives of its members, blending American roots music with global influences. The engagement will also include a student workshop on “The Melting Pot of American Roots Music” and opportunities for community members to share their family heritage and origin stories and reflect on how music carries culture across generations.
