Urbanity Dance

<p><span style="font-size: 14px;">Funds will support the restaging and expansion of an intergenerational, site-specific dance work for Urbanity Dance’s 2026 Fall Crawl in Boston. The piece brings together Urbanity’s Youth Company and participants from our Dance with Parkinson’s program, alongside vocalist and storyteller Valerie Stephens, to explore how communication is changing in an age shaped by artificial intelligence. Through gesture, voice, and shared movement, the work highlights the empathy and presence that cannot be replaced by technology. Building on the work’s fall 2025 premiere, this new iteration will feature both returning and new participants and will be adapted to a different community site, offering audiences an intimate, live experience of connection across generations.</span></p>
