Strawbery Banke Museum

The 2019 performance will mark the fifth year of collaborating with IDI to bring professional skaters to Portsmouth. The community performance at this nostalgic outdoor rink is a celebration of the joyful experience of skating. This show will take on a new format by pairing local novice skaters with the professionals in a “Skating with the Stars” competition. These performances will be interspersed with professional numbers performed by IDI skaters. To maximize opportunities to engage the community, an open dress rehearsal will be held and area elementary classes will be invited to watch as well as skate in a mini-lesson following the show. Also, at least one advanced clinic will be offered.
