Project Title
The Bridge Where We Meet
Fiscal Year Awarded
2022
Grant or Program
New Work New England
Grant Amount
$15,000

In this new work, The Bridge Where we Meet, I am planning to create, record, and perform a series of pieces of new music that will resonate with and reflect the diversity of New England and will be performed throughout the area. These pieces will create new sounds by combining the music of some of the vastly different cultures that coexist in our diverse community. The work will demonstrate how beautifully these diverse worlds can come together and engage one another. Music, rhythms, and instruments will create the language we use to collaborate with each other and our audience.
