Sandglass Theater will present Nehprii Amenii’s HUMAN as part of its 2026 Puppets in the Green Mountains festival. HUMAN is a musical narrative in which a deep-sea octopus considers creating a new kind of human, raising questions of empathy, care, and relational ethics. Through performance, dialogue, and community exchange, the festival will explore what it means to be human amid environmental crisis, technological isolation, and cultural division.
