The Quick Center for the Arts (QCA) at Fairfield University will present the band Ranky Tanky with vocalist Lisa Fischer as part of our 2023/24 season. In addition to the concert on Friday, November 10, 2023, the QCA will host residency work with local Bridgeport Public School students and a gathering following the concert for the larger public. The residency work will focus on Gullah culture in the United States and will encourage audiences to learn the history of and gain an understanding of Black and American music.
