Puppet Showplace Theater

Puppet Showplace Theater will present PuppetKabob's delightful, nationally-touring production of "She Thinks She's Queen Elizabeth but She's Dirty Gerts to Me" to family and field-trip audiences in spring 2023. Part paper pop-up extravaganza featuring the colors and textures of the 1960s, part coming-of-age tale about a young girl in rural Vermont struggling to fit in, this production explores timeless themes of creativity, individuality, and self-acceptance. Made entirely out of repurposed paper products, the story features the passing on of crafting knowledge from one generation to the next. In addition to two weekends of performances culminating on Mother's Day, PuppetKabob's Sarah Frechette will teach two supplementary workshops in paper-craft in order to share her techniques with family groups.
