Portland Ovations

Ovations will present the contemporary dance company MOMIX's new interpretation of its signature work, BOTANICA, in April 2027 for one public performance and one school-time performance for K–12 students in Portland, Maine. MOMIX's highly visual and physical work is designed to engage both youth and adult audiences, including those who may be new to contemporary dance. The engagement will include public workshops with two local dance studios, a pre-performance community gathering, and educational resources for K–12 educators and adults interested in developing a deeper understanding of dance.
