Portland Ovations

<p>Portland Ovations is bringing South Asian American bandleader, composer, and percussionist Sunny Jain and his music project Wild Wild East as part of a robust and dynamic touring project to bring Sunny Jain back to the region. Ovations&#39; engagement with Sunny Jain will include a public concert of his concept-album-turned-live concert, reimagining the immigrant as the new cowboy. Engagement activities will be rooted in community conversations about the immigrant experience, debunking the myths and portrayal of cowboys and Indian archetypes, and a community supper. </p>
