As part of their first-ever tour, Portland Ovations will present the Metropolis Ensemble, a New York-based professional chamber orchestra, performing Jakub Ciupinski's innovative, site specific piece "Brownstone." While in Portland, the ensemble will participate in a mini-concert at a local retirement community; a Composers' Forum led by Ciupinski with local students; a ticketed preview with reception; and "Brownstone" presented for free multiple times at Portland's historic Victoria Mansion as part of Portland's First Friday Art Walk.
