Pontine Theatre will present three public performances of 'Migraciones / Migrations,' created and performed by Paradox Teatro, at the 1845 Plains Schoolhouse in Portsmouth, NH in August 2022. The performances will be augmented by a public workshop conducted by Paradox Teatro's Artistic Co-Directors.

Open Eye Theatre describes the work: "MIGRACIONES:MIGRATIONS features exquisite sand-table animation, evocatively rendered puppet figures, and flourishes of witty video and audio manipulation. The piece is a potent meditation on the search for home, and what is lost and gained in traversing borders both geographic and metaphorical."

These performances are part of a New England-wide tour. Pontine will be coordinating with a consortium of other New England presenters including Mayo Street Arts, Sandglass Theatre, Puppet Showplace and the Ballard Institute.
