PICA

PICA's Artistic Director, Kristan Kennedy will travel to The Momentary see Will Rawl's exhibition and performance [siccer] which will travel to Portland Institute for Contemporary Art in the Fall of 2023. Kennedy will meet with curators, the participating artists and technicians to gather information and documentation of both presentations. This will aid in the production / design and installation of Will's work at PICA. The Momentary space is similar to PICA's raw warehouse and black box theater and although Rawl's install will shift slightly to adapt to site, seeing the work at the Momentary is critical to our understanding and care of the work. [siccer] was originally commissioned by The Kitchen in partnership with co-commissioners the Momentary, Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, On the Boards, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
