Next Stage Arts

Next Stage Arts will present a music performance featuring Tony Vacca and Massamba Diop with the Rhythm Nomads on October 17 at Next Stage’s indoor theater. The project will include hands-on drumming workshops at The Grammar School and Putney Central School, as well as a public performance open to the wider community that blends world-class performance with community-centered learning. Known for their dynamic exploration of West African percussion traditions, Vacca and Diop bring both artistic excellence and cultural depth; Diop is widely recognized for his work on the soundtrack of Black Panther and Tony Vacca’s World Rhythms is highly acclaimed for its music education programs.
