Salsa In The Park, led by MetaMovements artists Anara Frank and Eli Pabón, transforms parks, courtyards, and schoolyards into vibrant cultural commons through participatory Latin dance and music. Events feature live performances, social dancing, follow-along dance lines, a percussion exploration corner, and free lessons for all ages and abilities. Adaptive classes for Deaf, Blind, Hard of Hearing, and differently-abled participants are offered in partnership with Silent Rhythms. Trained Dance Ambassadors support accessibility, safety, and community connection. Co-designed with residents, youth, and local partners, the project fosters joy, belonging, and cultural expression in public spaces across Greater Boston.
