Mechanics' Hall

Dance artist Ali Kenner Brodsky will conduct a wide range of artistic activities at Mechanics' Hall on November 22, 2025, including a movement workshop, film screenings, and a panel discussion. The workshop will explore the connection between movement, storytelling, and memory, inviting participants to reflect on how our physicality embodies our narrative. The day will culminate in a screening of five of Ali's dance films, including the triptych your love: beside me (2025), to be near you (2021), & between silences (2018). This will be the first screening of all five films together. A panel discussion featuring key figures in the dance and film communities will follow, providing insight into the creative process and the intersection of dance and film.
