Mayo Street Arts

<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: -webkit-standard; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Mayo Street Arts will present PuppetKabob’s </span><em style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Dirty Gerts</em><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: medium; font-family: -webkit-standard;">, a pop-up puppet show created entirely from repurposed paper materials. The performance follows a young middle schooler navigating creativity, acceptance, and the challenges of fitting in, drawing on 1960s pop culture and historical fiction. Each performance will include a Q&amp;A with the artists, and PuppetKabob’s Sarah Frechette will lead workshops on pop-up puppet theater and paper sculpture at the University of Southern Maine and the Maine College of Art &amp; Design.</span></p>
