“Healing Wars,” a new dance by Liz Lerman in collaboration with sound designer Darron West, costume & scenic designer David Reynoso, media designer Kate Freer, and featuring screen-actor Bill Pullman, will examine our Civil War and the wars in Iraq/Afghanistan through the eyes of the healers involved. With a multi-site development process from the archives of Harvard, to head-trauma research labs, to Gettysburg, Liz is using partners in medicine, academia, and veterans’ communities to further her methods. It will premiere at Arena Stage (DC).
