<p><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-size: 14px;">"Divine Resonance - Prahalada Bhakti Vijayam" is a new Kuchipudi dance drama of Saint Tyagaraja (1767–1847)’s magnum opus "Prahalada Bhakti Vijayam" - one of the longest surviving operatic work, written in the tradition of South Indian devotional theatre. Layavinyasa’s artistic director Sarada Nori will bring this to life through Kuchipudi (a south Indian classical dance style) with live music and ensemble dancers. This original production brings together Connecticut-based vocalists and musicians specializing in south Indian oral traditions in collaboration with accomplished Kuchipudi artists, creating a dynamic fusion of movement, rhythm, and melody. Rooted in South Indian classical traditions, the production honors Tyagaraja’s timeless work while making them accessible to contemporary audiences through dance, storytelling, and music.</span></p>
