Split My Soul is a character-driven dance-theater work exploring fractured identity, mental health, and the dissonance between inner and outer worlds. Fresh from completing a rigorous summer-long Commedia dell’Arte training undertaken specifically for this production, I am now entering a work-in-progress stage to refine the choreography and expand the show’s reach after its January 2025 premiere at City Theater in Biddeford. With support from this grant, I will fund artist pay to sustain focused rehearsals that deepen character clarity, strengthen the choreographic throughline, and prepare the work for broader audiences.
