Ghadar Geet: Blood and Ink is a multidisciplinary performance and community engagement project honoring the untold story of the Ghadar Party—a revolutionary, Bay Area-based movement that fought for India's independence in the early 1900s. Featuring seven dancers and four musicians, the work blends Punjabi folk forms, West African dance, live music, poetry, and archival imagery to embody resistance, liberation, and cross-cultural solidarity. Drawing from the poetry of creator Joti Singh's great-grandfather, a Ghadar Party leader, the project extends beyond the stage with historical walking tours, community poetry gatherings, and a documentary film, connecting past struggles to urgent contemporary movements.
