Jeryl Palana Pilapil-Brown

Under the direction of Jeryl Palana, UnEarths, a Boston-based dance company, will create a dance film adaptation of Dressed in Excess in January 2026. Originally developed as a live performance work, the project confronts the crisis of fast fashion and textile waste through urgent choreography, repurposed costuming, and immersive visual design. This film adaptation expands the work’s impact, inviting reflection and dialogue on sustainability through a cinematic lens.
