Palestinian Storytime in the Garden is a day of storytelling and culture hosted by Interlink Foundation and Interlink Publishing which aims to create a day-long public art experience that blends ritual, literature, food, and farming. The project centers Palestinian-American author Jenan A. Matari and her children’s book Everything Grows in Jiddo’s Garden (2025) - a lyrical tale of a young Palestinian girl and her Grandpa. Taking place in August 2026, the event will feature interactive storytime, food demos, farm tours, planting activities, and intergenerational storytelling circles. Designed to be deeply rooted in land and memory, this project invites audiences of all backgrounds to experience Palestinian cultural continuity and resilience through the lens of farming, food, and family.
