<p>American Railroad by Silkroad Ensemble is a multi-faceted performance that explores the contributions of immigrant and Indigenous communities to the creation of the U.S. Transcontinental Railroad. Led by Wu Man, a master of the pipa, the ensemble blends traditional Chinese instruments with Black, Irish, and Indigenous musical forms to tell untold stories of America&#39;s cultural identity. The performance will be presented in Keene at The Colonial Theatre, alongside community activities including pre-show panels, school workshops, and post-show discussions. </p>
