Begun in 2001 by French-Algerian choreographer Hervé Koubi, the company has already toured extensively all over Europe and made its sold-out U.S. debut at New York’s City Center Fall for Dance Festival in October, 2015. Koubi’s hour long work, What The Day Owes To The Night, combines capoeira, martial arts, urban, and contemporary dance with powerful imagery from the Mediterranean basin for a group of 12 gravity defying male dancers from Algeria and Burkina Faso. Estimated artist fee: $20,000/performance, $50,000/week (plus hotel accommodation).
