Vimoksha created a movement-based performance with the youth from Roxbury Tenants of Harvard, using balloons as a way to introduce stillness. The youth attended a series of workshops using balloons to inspire movement, letting the slow and suspended motion of the balloon itself instill a sense of stillness and safety. The work will introduce a moment of wonder and connection as crowds in different parts of Boston pause to observe slow-moving bodies and stillness.
