Chandler Center for The Arts has invited Blue Skies to perform at the July 26 Braintree Bluegrass Brunch, a free outdoor series. Red Skies is a new project of Alex Rubin, which brings together four of New England’s most talented and widely-beloved bluegrass musicians into one powerhouse band. Joe K. Walsh, BB Bowness, Alex Rubin and Steve Roy have made careers out of playing acoustic string-band and bluegrass music at the highest level all over the world.
In addition to a live performance, members of the band will offer songwriting and tunewriting workshops for local musicians of all ages.
