Casa de la Cultura Dominicana en Boston

<p>Casa de la Cultura Dominicana en Boston, Dorchester Center, MA, will present Teatro ECAS in a performance of <em>¡Yo Soy Minerva!</em> at the Boston Public Library. This theatrical documentary centers on Minerva Mirabal, exploring themes of resistance, women’s leadership, and the struggle for democracy in the Dominican Republic. Performed in Spanish with English supertitles, the production will provide a visually engaging and historically grounded experience for diverse audiences.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to the performance, the engagement will include a post-show reception and panel discussion with artists and community leaders, as well as coordinated media outreach to broaden public awareness. Free admission, bilingual outreach, and an ADA-compliant venue will support equitable access and encourage participation from Dominican, Latino, and broader Massachusetts communities.</p>
