Lovell, Maine's Brick Church for the Performing Arts will feature two performances by Eshu Bumpus and Motoko: an evening show with Q&A designed to to illustrate the creative enrichment that comes from welcoming and blending different cultures and different artistic genres, and a morning performance for children at the local library. Both shows will blend Eshu's African-American traditions and musicianship with Motoko's Japanese traditions and mime artistry. The evening will also include material from their recent journey to Senegal.
