Bread and Roses Heritage Committee

The Bread and Puppet Theatre's touring company will perform one of their full programs as the finale of this year’s Bread & Roses Heritage Festival, as they have for the last several years. Bread and Puppet Theatre's themes of social,racial, and economic justice, its satire of authority, and its upbeat, joyful performances are a perfect fit for the festival, and have been well received by very diverse audiences every year. They perform in a central grassy area inthe Campagnone Common after all performance stages have concluded their programs, so that they are the central focus of all activity at the day-long Festival. (In the case of rain, the Theatre is able to perform indoors, as they did in 2022.)
