Piti Theatre Company is an award-winning touring troupe from Western MA that specializes in work for young audiences. About ten years ago, we brought them up for two very well received residencies + performances with NEFA's support. We would like them to return in Spring, 2023 with their new all ages play with music "Once Upon a . . ." which takes the audience on a storytelling journey partly of their own devising. The two actor performance blends improvised with composed music while giving audiences an interactive look at ways stories can be structured. The public performance will be complemented by a one week residency at Crescent Park Elementary School called "Inclusion Improv" inspired by themes in the show.
