The New Opera Company of Boston, led by Nathaniel Meyer, will debut at the Bar Harbor Music Festival with a Mozart double bill of Bastien et Bastienne and The Impresario. Semi-staged with live orchestra and multimedia elements, the productions will feature a new libretto and costumes inspired by the Art Deco heritage of Bar Harbor's 1932 Criterion Theatre. The engagement will also include free preview lectures, community performances, and a young audiences concert.
