Anthony Bounphakhom*

Lands of the Wabanaki Confederacy, Abenaki, and Pennacook Peoples (New Market, NH)

Anthony Bounphakhom's first love for art started with drawing and then stemmed to many different types of arts. One of his main art forms is movement/dance. He has been studying movement for over 10 years. His love for the arts allows him to create his pieces by being open to having different perspectives. Anthony creates art that will touch the heart of the viewers and in hopes to motivate them to not be afraid of who they are. Due to his upbringing, he strives to push the boundaries that limit artists being themselves. He believes that labels cannot define the self, but should challenge perspective on redefining self. Progression happens in the unknown. Finding confidence in his artistic voice has allowed him to enjoy the process. Anthony Bounphakhom has created a business/space where artists of all kinds can not only advance their knowledge, but also learn to collaborate.
