sada: what have these walls heard? is a triptych of choreographies re-imagining rituals and philosophies of the hammam (public bath), a site reverberating with embodied wisdom, desire, and the entanglements of coexistence. sada (Arabic for echo, resonance, the lasting impact of an action) invites audiences to attune to the age-old act of bathing to reveal deeply held emotions and guarded beliefs about the body, sexuality, and communal care. 

Delving into the human-water relationship: from ancient gender-fluid erotic rites, to contemporary highly gender-segregated body shaming beliefs, sada unfolds through a choreography of water, ritual gesture and vocals with a multicultural cast.
