(Boston, MA) The New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) is pleased to announce that Llewellyn Murray has joined the organization as the executive assistant.
In this role, Llewellyn is the principal support staff for the executive director, providing an essential strategic communications and logistics interface between the executive director and staff and as the organization’s primary liaison to the board of directors.
Llewellyn has held multiple administrative roles across the nonprofit sector. Most recently, he served as the program administrator for Brandeis University’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Education and Learning Initiatives, where he worked to improve the DEI training request system as well as creating and delivering educational workshops and professional development across the Brandeis community. Prior to his role at Brandeis, he held front-line roles at the Museum of Fine Arts, engaging with visitors about museum collections and exhibitions, and advising guests on membership opportunities, and served as a restorative justice grant manager and implementation coach for Boston Public Schools. Llewellyn holds a B.A. in English and Spanish (magna cum laude) from Stonehill College
“Llewellyn brings a range of nonprofit administrative experiences to this role,” said NEFA’s executive director Harold Steward. “We are thrilled to welcome him at this key moment as we implement our new strategic plan while acknowledging our 50th anniversary.”
The New England Foundation for the Arts invests in artists and communities, fostering equitable access to the arts and enriching the cultural landscape in New England and across the United States.
