<p>Based on the success of past "Your Town" projects in our region, Friends of Merrymeeting Bay (FOMB) will have Piti Theatre return to Maine for another residency in the fall of 2025 followed by a streaming theater event in the spring of 2026 focused on our region's natural history. As part of FOMB's Hands Around the Bay program, Piti artists will continue researching our region's local and natural history and adapt their dramatic framework based on 19th century rural New England to explore how human activity has led to changes in flora and fauna over the last 150 years. Piti's "streaming theatre" living history offering will be created on location in Bowdoinham, Dresden and Richmond. </p>
